Learn how to design and bend wire creations inspired by natural forms. In this class you will learn the fundamentals of designing wire jewelry, how to choose and work with a variety of wire types, and how to shape and loop wire to create earrings, pendants, and bracelets.
As the class project, each student will design and complete a pair of earrings and/or pendant.
Prerequisite: None
In this class you will learn:
- Designing and sketching designs
- Using tools and materials to form wire into designs
- Freeform wire designs, creating texture and shapes with wire and pliers
- Wire wraps to finish and secure shapes, work hardening wire
- How to fasten ear wires and jump rings to your work to create earrings and pendants

Materials: Student will need to purchase a
Wire Shaping Class kit, which will contain everything you need for the class.
Tools: Round Nose Pliers, Chain Nose Pliers, Flush Cutters, Nylon Jaw Pliers, and a hammer will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if your prefer!
