This clasp is barrel-shaped with a 1.0mm opening in the silicone grommet to securely hold the cording that you thread through it. A string-on clasp is basically a stopper bead with a soft silicone grommet that won't damage any of your jewelry-making materials. Made from hypoallergenic brass and electroplated nickel free.

Our beading chain (diameter 0.8mm) fits perfectly with this clasp. Also, 2 strands of SoftFlex medium beading wire works great with this.
