Super free-form and super fun! In this class, students will make oodles of beads. Learn to make beads using variations of a folded and cold-worked technique. Then embellish with wire and a variety of decorative beads. This class is especially helpful for students who wish to "break out of the mold" and learn to let creativity flow!
Materials: Students will need to purchase the Rolled & Wrapped Beads class materials kit #12143 ($45 kit) at time of registration.
Kit includes: assortment of thin gauge metal including copper & sterling silver, 24g & 26g wire for embellishing, assortment of beads for embellishing, dowel for shaping beads, use of instructor's texture hammers
There are no discounts given on class materials kits. When you purchase the kit online, please mark for store pickup. The kit will be given to you when you come to the class.
Tools Needed for Class:
Heavy-duty Round Nose Plier (heavy-duty German plier with larger heads work best)
Chain Nose Pliers
Flush Wire Cutters
Optional: Texture Hammers
These tools and additional materials are available for purchase on the day of class. At the end of class, you will pay for any tools and materials you used for your project.
