Step By Step Instructions

Note: When using Vintaj Elongated Oval Chain, you do not need to cut the chain. You can simply open and close the links using your chain nose pliers (it helps to have a pair of pliers in each hand, since the chain is fairly strong). No need to waste any chain by cutting!

1. Assemble 3 of these components:
   On a 1.5" eye pin, place a 12mm Filigree Bead Cap, a large bicone lampwork bead, and another 12mm Filigree Bead Cap. Be sure the bead caps are cupping the lampwork beads by carefully shaping the filigree bead cap onto the surface of the lampwork bead using your fingers. Make a simple loop at the other end of the eye pin. (If using Artistic Wire, make a wire wrap at each end instead. However, note that you will need to attach the Waterlily Pendant and Art Deco Dragonfly Pendant to one of these components -- see STEP 5.)
2. Assemble 4 of these components:
   On a 1" eye pin, place a Filigree Bead-Wrap Oval, then make a simple loop at the other end of the eye pin. (If using Artistic Wire, make a wire wrap at each end instead.)
3. Assemble 6 of these components:
   On a 5.25mm nickel-free jump ring, place a glass teardrop bead. Do not close the jump ring yet.
4. Separate the Elongated Oval Chain into the following sections: one 5-link piece, two 16-link pieces, five 1-link pieces, and retain the remaining long piece of chain.
5. Assemble the focal piece of the necklace: Attach one of the filigree-wrapped lampwork beads made in Step 1 above to one of the rungs on the Waterlily Pendant, and close the loop. On the other end of the lampwork bead, attach an Art Deco Dragonfly Pendant, using one of the spaces between its antennae.
6. On one of the 16-link chain pieces, attach the glass teardrop bead components you made in Step 3 above as follows: on the 6th and 11th links. Close the jump rings.
7. Now you are ready to assemble the necklace:
   First, attach the 5-link piece of chain to the loop on the Waterlily Pendant which is opposite to where the lampwork bead/dragonfly pendant is attached. Then add the following to the other end of the 5-link chain piece: a Step 2 unit, a 1-link chain piece, a Step 1 unit, a 1-link chain piece, a Step 2 unit, the longest chain piece, a Step 2 unit, a 1-link chain piece, a Step 1 unit, a 1-link chain piece, a Step 2 unit, a 1-link chain piece, and the Swirl Clasp Set (both pieces, with the Swirl part first, then the jump ring part).
8. Next, attach the jump ring end of the Swirl Clasp Set to the same loop on the Waterlily Pendant to which you attached the other end of the necklace.
9. Now, you are ready to attach the draping chains which you assembled in Step 6 above (chain with teardrops):
   On one side of the necklace, attach an end link of one the draping chains to the link right below the lower Filigree Oval Bead. Attach the other end link of the draping chain to the link just above the upper Filigree Oval Bead.
10. Similar to Step 9, attach the other draping chain from Step 6 to the 1-link piece of chain just above the Swirl of the Swirl Clasp set. Attach the other end of the draping chain to the link just above the upper Filigree Oval Bead.
11. And FINALLY, time to attach the last two units you made in Step 3 above. These each go on the link above the upper Filigree Oval Bead and draping chain on each side.
