Step By Step Instructions:

Note: You do not need to use flush cutters to cut the Vintaj chain. You merely open and close the links of the chain to separate it into sections. No waste! It works easiest if you use 2 pairs of chain nose pliers, one in each hand, since the chain is strong.

1. Assemble the Fanned Trellis unit: using one link of the Vintaj Round Link Brass Chain, attach the Green Garnet Long Teardrop to the bottom hole of the Vintaj Fanned Trellis Filigree.

2. Assemble the following units on 1" eye pins:

  • SET 1 (make 6 of these units): a Blossom Bead Cap, a Green Garnet 8mm round bead or Green Garnet 10mm coin bead, and a Blossom Bead Cap. Make a simple loop.
  • SET 2 (make 4 of these units): a Filigree 9mm Round Bead. Make a simple loop.
  • SET 3 (make 2 of these units): a Blossom Bead Cap, a Green Garnet 12mm Round Bead, and a Blossom Bead Cap. Make a simple loop.

3. Assemble one of these on a 1.5" eye pin: a Filigree 16mm Bead Cap Wrap, a Green Garnet 16.5mm Round Bead, and a Filigree 16mm Bead Cap Wrap. Make a simple loop.

4. Separate the Vintaj Fine Oval Chain into the following sections by opening and closing the links like a jump ring:

  • 10 separate, individual links
  • 2 sections of 3 links each
  • 1 section of 15 links
  • 1 section of remaining links (approximately 20)

5. Assemble the inner chain of the necklace (refer to the picture on our website as needed):

  • Take one of the 3-hole Filigree Connectors and attach a 4.75mm jump ring to the bottom hole on the right side.
  • Attach one of the individual chain links from Step 4 onto this 4.75mm jump ring.
  • Now attach the following to this single chain link: a SET 2 unit, an individual chain link, the unit from Step 3, an individual chain link, a SET 2 unit, and an individual chain link.
  • Connect this ending chain link to the second 3-hole Filigree Connector using another 4.75mm jump ring (attach to the bottom hole on the left side of the connector).

6. Assemble the outer chain of the necklace (refer to the picture on our website as needed):

  • Take the initial 3-hole Filigree Connector from Step 5 above and attach a 4.75mm jump ring to the bottom hole on the left side.
  • Attach one of the individual chain links from Step 4 onto this 4.75mm jump ring.
  • Now attach the following to this single chain link: a SET 1 unit, an individual chain link, a SET 3 unit, an individual chain link, a SET 1 unit, and a 4.75mm jump ring attached to the upper left corner of the Fanned Trellis unit from Step 1.
  • Repeat the above step using the second 3-hole Filigree Connector from Step 5 above, attaching a 4.75mm jump ring to the bottom hole on the right side of the connector, and finally attaching the 4.75mm jump ring at the end of the sequence to the upper right corner of the Fanned Trellis unit from Step 1.

7. Assemble the rest of the necklace and hook clasp:

  • Attach a 4.75mm jump ring to the top of one of the 3-hole Filigree Connectors.
  • Then attach the following to this 4.75mm jump ring: a SET 1 unit, a 3-link chain section, a SET 2 unit, and the remaining longest section of chain.
  • Attach a 4.75mm jump ring to the top of the other 3-hole Filigree Connector.
  • Then attach the following to this 4.75mm jump ring: a SET 1 unit, a 3-link chain section, a SET 2 unit, the 15-link section of chain, and the hook clasp.
