Step By Step Instructions

Hint: As with most Vintaj chains, you can simply open and close the links of the Petite Etched Chain instead wasting chain by cutting it. Also, since the links are pretty strong, you may wish to use two chain nose (or flat nose) pliers, one in each hand, to make it easier to open and close the links.

1. Divide the Petite Etched Chain into two 4" sections.
2. On the end of one piece of chain, fasten the Tiny Hook part of the clasp.
3. On the end of the other piece of chain, fasten the Tiny Eye part of the clasp.
4. Make 9 of the following components: place a blue glass bead on a 1" eye pin, and make a simple wire loop on the other end.
5. Using the chain with the Tiny Hook at one end, open the link at the opposite end of the chain and attach a blue-glass component from Step 4.
6. At the other end of the blue-glass component, attach the following by opening and closing the simple loops: Diamond Filigree, Step 4 component, Flying East Bird Connector (head first), Step 4 component, Flying East Bird Connector (head first), Step 4 component, Flying East Bird Connector (head first), Step 4 component, Flying East Bird Connector (head first), Step 4 component, Flying East Bird Connector (head first), Step 4 component, Flying East Bird Connector (head first), Step 4 component, Diamond Filigree, and Step 4 component. 7. To the end of the last Step 4 component, attach the chain with the Tiny Eye at the opposite end.

Note: You can also use Flying West Bird Connectors instead of the Flying East birds. Or, you can use half Flying East and half Flying West birds flying whichever way you like.
