Step By Step Instructions

1. Assemble 5 of these components:
   On a 2" eyepin, place a yellow citrine 4x6 rondelle, a star spacer, a light purple 8x10 rondelle, a star spacer, an amber 10x12 rondelle, a star spacer, a light purple 8x10 rondelle, a star spacer, and a yellow citrine 4x6 rondelle on the eyepin. Make a simple loop on the other end of your eyepin .
2. Assemble 2 of these components:
   On a 1" eyepin, place a yellow citrine 4x6 rondelle, a star spacer, a light purple 8x10 rondelle, a star spacer, and a yellow citrine 4x6 rondelle on the eyepin. Make a simple loop on the other end of your eyepin.
3. On the length of SoftFlex string on the following: a melon bead, a yellow citrine 4x6 rondelle, a star spacer, a light purple 8x10 rondelle, a star spacer, a yellow citrine 6x8 rondelle, a melon bead, an oval filigree bead, a melon bead, a light purple 8x10 rondelle, a star spacer, an amber 10x12 rondelle, a star spacer, a light purple 8x10 rondelle, a spacer, a yellow citrine 6x8 rondelle, a melon bead, an oval filigree bead, a melon bead, a yellow citrine 6x8 rondelle, a spacer, a light purple 8x10 rondelle, a spacer, a yellow citrine 6x8 rondelle, and a melon bead. Set the strung piece aside for the time being. Hint: use bead stoppers on the ends of the SoftFlex to make sure your beads don't slide off. Alternatively, you can secure the ends with sticky tape until you are ready to use them.
4. Now you are ready to wrap the center focal bead. Carefully wrap the large (25x18) topaz Czech faceted stone with the Vintaj Deco Vines Filigree. We recommend using bail making pliers to bend this filigree, for a nice smooth curve, and to not put too much strain on the somewhat narrow "hinge" points, where the necklace attaches to the filigree.
5. String a crimp bead on one end of the strung SoftFlex, make a loop around the Deco Vines Left, and then flatten the crimp. String a crimp bead on the other end of the strung SoftFlex, then make a loop around the Deco Vines Right, make sure the tension is good, and then crimp. Cover each of the crimps with a crimp cover.
   
6. Separate the chain into eight pieces as follows: four 1-1/2" pieces, and the remaining 2-1/2" into half making 1-1/4" pieces. Don't cut the Vintaj chain! You will be able to open and close the chain segments, using your chain nose pliers.
7. Assembly: Note: with the Vintaj chain, you won't need jump rings. It is even easier if you use 2 chain nose pliers, one in each hand, to open and close the loops of the chain, as it is fairly stiff. You will be working from the pendant upward towards the clasp in the following steps.
   • Fasten a shorter chain segment to the top of each side of the Deco Vines Wrap (refer to website picture if necessary).
   • Open one end of the eyepin of a segment you made in Step 1 above. Fasten to one end of the chain you just added to the Deco Vines wrap and close the loop. With another segment you made in Step 1, fasten one end to the other chain which is extending from the Deco Vines Wrap.
   • Open the other end of the eyepin of the segment you made in Step 1 above. Add one of the longer pieces of chain to the eye loop, and close. Then, fasten the other end of the longer chain to the loop on the Vines Swirling Right and close. Repeat these steps for the other side, making sure you have the vines facing in the correct directions. Refer to the website picture if necessary.
   • Take another segment you made in Step 1, and fasten one of the eye loops into the top of the Deco Vines Swirling Right. Do the same on the other side, fastening to the top of the Deco Vines Swirling Left.
   • Fasten another piece of the shorter chain to the segment you are working on. Fasten a segment you made in Step 2 to the other end of the chain. Repeat for the other side of the necklace.
   • Fasten another piece of the shorter chain to the other end of the segment you made in Step 2. Fasten one end of the Swirl Clasp to the other end of the chain. Repeat for the other side of the necklace, fastening the other end of the Swirl Clasp.
   • Take the tape/bead stopper off one end of the SoftFlex wire you have strung. String on a crimp bead, make a loop around the Swirling Vines Left, and bring the wire through the crimp bead again. Flatten the crimp. Do the same on the other side (Swirling Vines Right).
   • Cover each of the crimp beads with a crimp cover.
